Role Overview

World Wide Technology is supporting a client requirement for a Portfolio Lead covering corporate functions — HR, Legal, Finance, and Corporate Affairs — based in Bangalore, with three days per week in the office. This is a portfolio governance role rather than technical project delivery. The Portfolio Lead will bring structure and visibility to how the corporate functions portfolio is planned, funded, and reported, and will drive the operational change needed to run governance well.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and run governance forums for the corporate functions portfolio.
• Prepare monthly business reviews for portfolio leadership and stakeholders.
• Support quarterly planning cycles across the portfolio.
• Maintain visibility of plans, approvals, funding, benefits, and financials.
• Coordinate closely with delivery leads, finance, reporting, and central planning teams.
• Support adoption of the new Accolade EPM solution, launching in January 2027.

What We're Looking For

• Leadership-level stakeholder management, with the credibility to work directly with senior corporate function leaders.
• Strong financial control discipline across budgets, funding, and benefits tracking.
• Demonstrated ability to launch and run portfolio governance processes from the ground up.
• Hands-on experience with portfolio or project management tooling — Clarity, Planview, or similar (Accolade experience is a plus but not required).
• Comfort operating in a large, matrixed corporate environment with multiple functions and delivery teams.

Candidate Background

We are looking for a profile similar to a senior IT or business operations leader with 12–15+ years of experience spanning service delivery, service operations, and portfolio or program governance within large, complex, multinational organizations. Experience partnering across global corporate functions (HR, Legal, Finance, Corporate Affairs) and driving governance or operating-model change in a matrixed enterprise environment is strongly preferred.
