About Us

At UniVisory, we help ambitious high school students across the globe build standout applications for the world's leading universities. Our students aspire to highly selective programs in Architecture, Fine Arts, Product Design, Visual Arts and Communication Design, where an exceptional portfolio can be a defining factor in admission.

Role Overview

We are looking for an exceptionally creative, artistically accomplished and highly committed Portfolio Designer & Mentor to guide students applying to leading universities across the US, UK, Europe and Singapore.

You will take ownership of the student's complete portfolio journey—from creative exploration and conceptualisation to project development, artistic refinement, curation and final submission.

This role requires outstanding artistic sensibilities, sophisticated portfolio judgment, hands-on mentoring abilities and meticulous attention to detail, along with the diligence to deliver exceptional work within strict application timelines.

What You'll Do

  • Portfolio Strategy: Develop personalised, university-specific portfolio roadmaps aligned with students intended disciplines, creative strengths and target institutions.
  • Creative Direction: Guide students in conceptual thinking, freehand sketching, spatial exploration, visual storytelling, digital design and mixed-media experimentation.
  • Hands-On Mentorship: Work closely with students to develop, refine and elevate original artistic projects, providing practical demonstrations and detailed creative feedback.
  • Portfolio Curation: Help build cohesive, compelling and visually sophisticated portfolios that demonstrate originality, technical ability, creative process and artistic identity.
  • University-Specific Requirements: Understand and adapt to portfolio expectations for B.Arch, BA Architecture, BFA, Design and related creative programs.
  • Quality & Artistic Excellence: Critically assess works-in-progress and ensure high standards of creativity, execution, presentation and attention to detail.
  • Ownership & Timelines: Establish clear milestones, proactively track progress, maintain regular student engagement and ensure timely completion of all portfolio deliverables.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification (completed or in progress) in Architecture, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Product Design, Communication Design or a related discipline from a reputed institution.
  • Exceptional Artistic Sensibilities: A strong personal portfolio demonstrating creativity, originality, conceptual depth, aesthetic judgment and technical proficiency.
  • Portfolio Expertise: Strong understanding of portfolio development, visual presentation and creative evaluation standards at leading global institutions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant creative techniques and tools, such as freehand sketching, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino or other discipline-specific media.
  • Mentorship: Ability to inspire, challenge and closely guide high school students through the creative process.
  • Diligence & Accountability: Exceptional ownership, responsiveness, attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to work consistently within agreed timelines.
  • Previous experience mentoring students for competitive architecture, art or design admissions is preferred.

Who Should Apply

We particularly welcome recent graduates, current postgraduate students, alumni and emerging creative professionals from leading architecture, art and design institutions.

Candidates with exceptional portfolios and firsthand experience of selective creative-program admissions are strongly encouraged to apply.

Above all, we value artistic excellence, creative judgment, genuine student engagement, ownership and uncompromising commitment to quality and timelines.

How to Apply

Please submit your CV, educational background, personal creative portfolio and examples of any student portfolios you have mentored, where available.
