Job Description

As a Portfolio Credit Risk Center Associate within the Treasury Services Risk team, you independently assess treasury service risk for assigned middle market clients to determine if risk is appropriate.

Job Responsibilities

  • Independently assess treasury service risk for assigned middle market clients to determine if risk is appropriate
  • Establish and review credit facilities that support treasury service products and cash secured letters of credit provide first level approval
  • Utilize transaction activity and usage information to respond to risk alerts and assess risk profile
  • Provide treasury service risk mitigation recommendations for clients when warranted
  • Quality check work delivery for junior analysts in the team
  • Understand various Treasury Service Products and operating platform
  • Develop and maintain open communication channels with Coverage team including Bankers,Treasury Service Officers and Trade Finance. Independently handle all calls discussions with Bankers and Treasury Management Officers
  • Identify escalation opportunities that require other Risk partners
  • Stakeholder management †Build strong relationships and maintain open communication channels with client Coverage team to act as subject matter expert

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in credit risk or product risk
  • Knowledge of treasury service products and facilities
  • Strong grasp of corporate finance concepts and their application
  • Aptitude to learn and develop knowledge on credit analysis techniques, sectors, and global economies
  • Strong oral and written communication skills ability to effectively present analysis and interact with global credit bankers
  • Deadline orientation close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel (including Risk Reporting), and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work proactively and independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills ability to build positive relationships with Underwriters/RMs/TMOs
