Port Supervisor

Overseeing entire team, ensuring they are in their proper place, they have clocked in, and tracking any по- show or call outs Working directly with management regarding any and allaspects of the day-to-day operation Overseeing the disembarkation of the ship Ensuring all staff are in place for when the terminal doors are open and guests are able to enter the terminal Overseeing embarkation of the ship Handling guest documentation situations Making position lists for the daily operation (assigning the staff to their positions for the day) Handling all end of day reports and paperwork Ensure cleanness is maintained during and after operations activities Report any noticed bad stowage, damage to container or cargo Report any defects/failures On duty supervisor must ensure cargo de-stuffed / arranged as per stakeholder's requirements. Fragile / foodstuff items must be handled carefully. On duty supervisor must ensure his presence while handling heavy loads and keep close watch to implement safety measures. In case if there is any oil spillage/ heavy mechanical repair and operations zones are to properly barricaded. Supervisor must ensure establishing high quality service and safe working environment. The supervisor must ensure that the personnel assigned confirms that trucks docking are fully parked (hand breaks on) prior to commencing operations. The supervisor must ensure that staff wear appropriate PPE. The supervisor must ensure that all personnel geta safety induction prior commencing work The process of loading and unloading consists of proper remove of goods from the ship/vessel and placed carefully into the transportation truck or vehicle. Supervisor must ensure safe cargo operation Supervising gangs and assign job of their duties, responsible for allcargo activities on board Ensure availability of required gears and tools to conduct operations Ensure all operations involving people, material and equipment are handled safely
