Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Port Engineer, located in Vagra. The Port Engineer will oversee the maintenance and repair of port facilities, ensure compliance with vessel operations and ship management procedures, and lead inspections to meet regulatory and operational standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating plans for vessel and port equipment maintenance, managing marine service operations, and providing technical support where necessary.
Qualifications
- Must possess valid Indian MEO Class I Certificate of Competency.
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair of marine equipment and port facilities
- Knowledge of Ship Management and Vessel Operations practices
- Familiarity with the Marine Industry and its regulations
- Skills in conducting accurate and detailed Inspections to meet compliance standards
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field
- Experience in port or maritime operations preferred
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic operational environments
