Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Master Trainer in Port and Terminal Operations to lead the training and development of trainees at Adani Skills Academy, so that, upon completion of the course, these trainees can be gainfully employed in operational teams at Mundra Port across various verticals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering competency-based training to learners across defined skill areas, ensuring they develop job-ready knowledge, practical abilities, and workplace behaviors. The role involves facilitating engaging sessions, assessing learner performance, coordinating on-the-job training (OJT), and ensuring alignment with qualification standards or industry requirements. This role is crucial in ensuring a robust talent pipeline for the Mundra Port.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Development & Delivery

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for Port and Maritime operations, Employability skills and campus-to-workplace programs.
  • Deliver interactive, competency-based classroom, online, or workshop training.
  • Develop session plans, learning materials, and practical demonstrations aligned to curriculum or qualification standards.
  • Coordinate with industry partners to facilitate OJT, apprenticeships, and workplacelearning.
  • Ensure training aligns with NSQF/NOS, sector-skill standards, or institutional guidelines.
  • Integrate digital tools for enhanced skill delivery.

2. Performance Evaluation & Coaching

  • Assess learner competencies through assignments, practical tasks, and evaluations.
  • Provide individualised coaching, feedback, and support to improve learner performance.
  • Monitor learner attendance, progress, and training outcomes; maintain accurate documentation.

3. Team Management

  • Supervising and training team of facilitators who will support in facilitating practical training alongwith master trainer, while learning to take up future batches.

4. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with the University academic and assessment team as well as client operations team for successful completion and learning effectiveness of the program.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and provide periodic reports and insights to seniormanagement.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Participate in trainer development programs, industry updates, and quality-assurance processes.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Any Graduation
  • At least 2 years of experience in Port Operations, preferably at Mundra Port.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a training role.
  • Strong knowledge of Port and Terminal Operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
