Population Health Informaticist (AI Training)
About The Role
We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build smarter, more accurate health AI — and we need population health experts to make it happen. As a Population Health Informaticist, you'll apply your expertise in public health data to evaluate, improve, and inform AI systems designed to understand health trends, disparities, and outcomes at scale.
This is a flexible, fully remote contract role where your domain knowledge directly shapes the future of AI in healthcare.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs related to population health data, epidemiology, and public health analytics for accuracy and quality
- Review and assess data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting frameworks produced or described by AI systems
- Identify errors, gaps, or misleading conclusions in AI-generated health insights
- Provide structured expert feedback on how well AI interprets and communicates population-level health information
- Help translate complex health data concepts into clear, actionable guidance that improves AI performance
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of health metrics, surveillance systems, and epidemiological methods
- Proficient in data visualization and reporting tools — comfortable evaluating dashboards and data summaries
- Able to identify when health data is being misrepresented, oversimplified, or incorrectly interpreted
- Clear and structured written communicator
- Self-motivated and reliable in an independent, remote work environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation workflows
- Background in public health informatics, epidemiology, or health data science
- Familiarity with population health platforms or EHR/claims data environments
- Prior work in AI, machine learning, or clinical decision support systems
