POM Product Owner

In this role, you ll make an impact in the following ways:

·       Deliver to product roadmap as per group prioritization

·       Participate in quarterly planning and ensure alignment with group deliverables

·       Act as primary point of escalation with the agile group

·       Act as primary point of contact to resolve dependencies across other groups for own deliverables

·       Ability to roll up sleeves and pitch for discussions, requirements gathering, JIRA story writing, acceptance criteria

·       Review the testing results and approve based on meeting requirements

·       Work closely with scrum lead to ensure agile team progress for deliverables

To be successful in this role, we re seeking the following:

·       Bachelor s degree (preferably) in computer science with exposure to financial services

·       Knowledgeable about Middle Office services including trade processing, derivatives, and Accounting

·       Familiarity with diverse asset classes (Equity/Fixed Income/FX/Derivatives (Cleared/Bilateral) & Cash(TA, Management Fees)

·       Experience with market utilities like Markit, CTM and exposure to SWIFT messaging for Securities/FX

·       Ability to quickly learn and map business process to systems & capabilities.

·       Perform business analysis activities such as requirements gathering, detailed data analysis, data mapping and testing while collaborating with business teams.

·       Participate in daily stand-ups and scrum sessions with the development teams.

·       Facilitate technology projects from start to finish, including gathering/documenting requirements, communicating with development team, and overseeing/assisting with testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.

·       Oracle/SQL Skills, JIRA experience is required

·       Experience with client onboarding projects for Investment Operations outsourcing is desirable.

·       Strong understanding of end-to-end Investment operations workflows and functions.

·       Very good understanding of microservices architecture, mapping capabilities and production rollouts

·       Ability to influence the agile group members to achieve the desired goals/outcomes
