Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Polymer Sales role based in Hyderabad. The role involves managing and growing sales of polymers and related products, including PP, PE, PVC, elastomers, and film-grade materials, to customers in plastics, packaging, rubber, and chemical industries. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing and delivering product proposals, negotiating pricing and contracts within defined guidelines, and closing sales. The role also includes maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, coordinating closely with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries, and resolving order or service issues promptly. The Polymer Sales professional will track market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements, generate regular sales reports and forecasts, and participate in trainings or customer education sessions on product applications and technical specifications.
Qualifications
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients, understand requirements, and provide responsive, solutions-focused support.
  • Proven Sales experience, ideally in polymers, chemicals, or industrial products, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in Sales Management or key account handling, including pipeline management, forecasting, and use of basic CRM or sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to deliver Training or product presentations to customers on product features, applications, and handling best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is preferred.
  • Good analytical and numeric skills for pricing, margin analysis, and contract discussions.
  • Comfort working in an on-site, field-oriented sales environment with regular customer visits in and around Hyderabad and assigned territories.
  • Knowledge of polymer markets, packaging and plastics applications, or industrial B2B sales
