About the Role
We are looking for a Content Writer with experience in political writing and government communication to join our digital marketing agency in Ahmedabad.
The ideal candidate should have strong writing skills, a good understanding of political narratives, public policy communication, government schemes, public welfare campaigns, and digital content formats. The candidate should be able to write clear, impactful, and audience-focused content for social media, campaigns, speeches, articles, press notes, and other communication material.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in content writing, preferably with political, government, or public-sector communication exposure.
- Prior experience working with or for government departments, political campaigns, public representatives, or government-related projects.
- Strong understanding of political communication, governance, public welfare schemes, and current affairs.
- Excellent command over written Gujarati, Hindi and English.
- Ability to write simple, clear, and impactful content for mass audiences.
- Strong research and fact-checking skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive topics with maturity and accuracy.
- Experience in writing for social media, digital campaigns, press communication, and public-facing content.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment with tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Write content for political campaigns, government projects, public awareness campaigns, and digital platforms.
- Create social media captions, campaign copies, articles, blogs, press releases, speeches, taglines, and short-format content.
- Develop content around government schemes, public initiatives, development work, political messaging, and leadership communication.
- Understand briefs from internal teams, clients, and government departments and convert them into strong written communication.
- Research political topics, current affairs, government policies, local issues, and public sentiment.
- Write content in a tone suitable for public communication, digital campaigns, and official messaging.
- Coordinate with designers, social media teams, video editors, and campaign managers to ensure content aligns with the creative direction.
- Ensure all content is factually accurate, politically sensitive, and aligned with the client's communication objectives.
- Adapt content for different formats such as social media posts, reels, carousels, hoardings, brochures, speeches, and website content.
- Maintain consistency in tone, language, and messaging across campaigns.
