About this Role:

We are looking for dynamic professionals to join our Political Intelligence and Campaigns team for the HP + JK region. Candidates will be involved in both campaign execution and grassroots-level political analysis, supporting our client in strategic planning and outreach for upcoming political engagements.

This role requires a deep understanding of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmirpolitical landscape, fluency in regional languages, and the ability to engage with local stakeholders, including influencers and politicians. Selected candidates will be based out of Chandigarh and expected to travel across the state as needed.

What Would This Role Entail

• Monitor and analyse political and socio-economic developments in HP and JK at the constituency and regional levels.
• Plan and execute offline and online campaigns in coordination with clients and vendors.
• Conduct primary research (interviews, focus group discussions, field surveys) and gather insights from key stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed reports and political briefs with data-backed insights for client consumption.
• Liaise with local political leaders, influencers, and ground-level stakeholders to gather intelligence and build working relationships.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality in all documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to review and finalize strategic recommendations based on ground data.
• Maintain structured documentation and reporting protocols.
• Support the development of campaign strategies tailored to specific constituencies.
• Interface with client-side individuals, following all relevant protocols .

Necessary Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized institution.
• Strong understanding of HP + JK's political ecosystem and current affairs.
• Fluency in relevant regional languages (HP/JK), along with Hindi and English.
• Excellent analytical, research, and logical reasoning skills.
• Experience in data interpretation and structured report writing.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Willingness to travel extensively across HP and JK for fieldwork and campaign operations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Good to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in political consulting, campaign management, or public policy.
• Ability to build rapport with local influencers and political leaders.
• Demonstrated capability in managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong grasp of regional socio-political dynamics in HP and JK.
