About the Job:

As a Functional QA Engineer – PolicyCenter Forms / SmartCOMM / Duck Creek Forms, you will be responsible for validating policy documents, forms, and document generation processes across enterprise insurance applications. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables by performing comprehensive functional testing and forms validation.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in PolicyCenter Forms Testing, SmartCOMM, or Duck Creek Forms, with hands-on experience in functional testing, document validation, and defect management. Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Perform functional testing for PolicyCenter Forms, SmartCOMM, and Duck Creek Forms applications.
• Validate policy documents, customer correspondence, forms, and document generation outputs.
• Analyze business requirements and create detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects while collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
• Verify document formatting, data accuracy, business rules, and output consistency across multiple templates.
• Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, test planning, and defect triage meetings.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates for project stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing with strong expertise in Functional Testing.
• Hands-on experience with SmartCOMM (Smart Communications), Thunderhead, SmartIQ, or Duck Creek Forms.
• Experience in PolicyCenter Forms Testing, Document Testing, or Forms Validation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Test Planning, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Integration Testing, and Defect Management.
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Good to Have:

• Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
• Exposure to Guidewire PolicyCenter, Duck Creek, or other insurance platforms.
• Knowledge of document composition and correspondence management solutions.
• Experience with API Testing or Automation Testing is an added advantage.
