Role Overview

We are looking for a Policy communication associate to keep pace with India's fast-evolving waste, plastic, and circular economy regulations.The ideal candidate will track policy developments, interpret their implications for the industry, and translate complex updates into clear, actionable communication for internal teams and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Policy Tracking & Analysis

-Monitor emerging regulations in plastics, EPR, waste management, sustainability standards, and environmental compliance.

-Analyse policy changes to identify potential impact on Lucro, its partners, and the wider industry.

-Maintain an organised pipeline of regulatory updates with timelines, summaries, and action points.

Content Development & Communication

-Write short policy briefs and weekly internal updates.

-Turn complex rules into simple, easy-to-use notes for marketing and leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

-Work with marketing, operations, and compliance to verify information.

-Provide inputs for campaigns, thought leadership, and industry discussions.

Research & Insights

-Benchmark India's policy landscape against global standards to inform Lucro's long-term positioning.

Skills & Experience

-1-3 years experience in policy research, analysis or similar field.

-Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field

-Strong writing and summarisation skills.

-Ability to simplify technical information.

-Experience in policy research, communications, or sustainability is a plus.
