Blue care is seeking applications from
Podiatrists keen to join our highly skilled Statewide Allied Health Team on a Full Time or Part time basis.
This position is
open to new graduates or early career podiatrists looking for a permanent Full time or part time position where you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing care to community-based adults, and ageing customers.
You will be working for a leading not for profit organisation that promotes a positive
work life balance and
flexible working arrangements based from a clinical hub, providing a mix of in centre clinic visits with home visits as required.
About The Role
You'll work with our established multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver the
highest standard of careand podiatry treatment using a person-centred approach. Your main aim will be to
maintain and encourage client independence in addition to considering their physical and social wellbeing. You will have support from our
Statewide Allied Health team in the form of clinical supervision from senior clinical staff, administrative staff and Allied Health Assistants in managing case load and the clinical service requirements.
- Clinic based role servicing community clients with the requirement to undertake home visits where necessary.
- Supervision with a senior podiatrist, and regular support from our AH Podiatry Discipline Lead.
- Opportunity to build community caseload for more exposure to varied and complex clients
- Potential within the geographic locations to build and grow your Podiatry service
- Manage your own case load with realistic productivity targets

What makes a difference for us
- Current Australian Driver's Licence - Essential
- Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
- Current AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements - Essential
- Demonstrated ability and proficiency in Podiatry assessment and treatment of community dwelling customers presenting with a wide range of needs, including aged care, disability and health and wellbeing.
- Demonstrated ability and proficiency in appropriate documenting and accurate record keeping into computer programs.
- Demonstrated high level of verbal and written communication skills particularly in establishing and maintaining rapport with staff, customers and their carers.
- Ability to work effectively as a multi-disciplinary team member.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage individual caseload whilst meeting service and customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to recognise other needs that Blue Care can assist customers with and provide relevant and timely referrals.
- Willingness to work within Philosophy, Policies and Procedures of Blue Care and the Uniting Church of Australia.
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
