About the Role: We are looking for a meticulous Podcast Editor & Manager to handle the post-production and distribution of our podcast. This is not a social media role. We need a technical storyteller who can take raw footage and turn it into high-quality, long-form episodes for YouTube, Spotify, and our platform, ScaleUp.
What You Will Do:
- Video Editing (YouTube & ScaleUp): Edit full-length podcast episodes. This includes multi-camera switching (if applicable), color correction, and ensuring a professional visual flow.
- Audio Engineering (Spotify): Deep cleaning of audio. You must know how to balance levels, remove background noise/echo, and master the audio to broadcast standards.
- Platform Management:
- Upload and manage the final video files on YouTube (including End Screens, Cards, and Chapters).
- Upload audio/video to Spotify (via Anchor/Spotify for Podcasters).
- Manage uploads to our proprietary platform, ScaleUp.
- Asset Creation: Design high-CTR Thumbnails for YouTube.
Who You Are:
- You are an expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition (or DaVinci Resolve).
- You understand the difference between cutting and editing. You know how to pace a conversation so it feels natural, not choppy.
- You are organized. You can manage file versions and ensure everything goes live on time without supervision.
Experience:
- Proven experience editing long-form interview or educational content (15-25 minutes).
- Familiarity with YouTube SEO (titles, descriptions, tags) is a plus.
