Job Description Png Conversion Technician
Position: PNG Conversion Technician / Gas Installation Technician
Location: West Bengal | Odisha | Jharkhand | Bihar | UP
Industry: City Gas Distribution (CGD) / Piped Natural Gas (PNG)
Experience: 1 5 years in PNG/LPG conversion, pipeline installation, or utility projects (Fresh ITI candidates can apply)
Qualification: ITI (Fitter/Welder/Plumber/Mechanical/Electrician/Instrumentation) or Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent experience
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct site visits, inspections, and plan pipeline routing
Execute LPG to PNG conversion including installation of meters, regulators, valves, and pipelines
Perform stove conversion, appliance connection, and ensure leak-proof fittings
Carry out testing, commissioning, and system activation
Maintain job documentation, meter readings, and reporting via mobile apps
Ensure compliance with safety standards and provide customer guidance
