This role offers broad exposure across Operations, Technology, Risk, and Controls with visible senior stakeholder engagement.

Job Summary:

As a Platform Modernization Recon Project Manager within IPB Reconciliation / Platform Modernization (PMOD), you lead strategic transformation initiatives modernizing reconciliation processes and tooling. You drive end-to-end delivery across the full project lifecycle, partnering with Business, Operations, and Technology to implement process, configuration, and system changes. You ensure robust governance, controls, and measurable outcomes through disciplined planning, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation through closure for reconciliation modernization initiatives.
  • Partner with Operations, Technology, Risk, and Controls to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status reporting to support governance.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and critical path activities to protect delivery commitments.
  • Drive automation and process enhancement efforts across requirements, design, testing, and implementation.
  • Facilitate workshops, intakes, and working sessions to elicit and validate business requirements.
  • Document business processes, use cases, workflows, and supporting analysis for traceable delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to PMOD standards, governance cadence, and documentation requirements.
  • Communicate progress, decisions, and escalations clearly to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Support compliance and control activities aligned to reconciliation control frameworks and audit readiness.
  • Mentor junior team members to strengthen execution rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrate 5+ years of project experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate insights into actions and decisions.
  • Exhibit strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership across senior audiences.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of reconciliation processes, controls, and operational risk considerations.
  • Use project delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall, aligned to PMOD governance standards.
  • Manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bring experience in a reconciliation, finance operations, or financial services transformation environment.
  • Leverage knowledge of automation and reconciliation tools such as Alteryx and iRecs.
  • Earn a project management certification such as PMP or Prince2.
  • Showcase a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrate intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Influence effectively through collaboration, change management, and outcomes-focused execution.
  • Model strong ownership, strategic thinking, and results orientation in ambiguous problem spaces.
