Job Description – Program Manager (7–12 Years)

Position: Program Manager

Experience: 7–12 Years

Location: Bangalore

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead strategic programs, drive governance, and ensure successful delivery across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have strong program management experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence through structured governance and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple programs/projects from planning through execution and delivery.
  • Establish and drive program governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly program reviews with leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Track and manage project health, milestones, dependencies, risks, and escalations across programs.
  • Implement and maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) management frameworks.
  • Proactively identify delivery risks and drive mitigation plans to ensure program success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Quality, and Business stakeholders.
  • Prepare executive dashboards, status reports, and presentations for senior leadership and C-suite reviews.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives, market research activities, and business transformation programs.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and operational efficiency across programs.
  • Ensure alignment between business priorities, resource planning, and delivery commitments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7–12 years of overall experience with significant exposure to Program Management and Governance.
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in technology or consulting environments.
  • Strong expertise in program planning, governance, stakeholder management, and executive reporting.
  • Hands-on experience in RAID management, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and escalation management.
  • Experience driving operational reviews and tracking portfolio-level program health.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exposure to market research, business analysis, and strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience interacting with senior leadership.
  • Ability to work effectively with global and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
  • SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Certification.
  • Experience working in consulting organizations or large-scale transformation programs.
  • Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologie
