Description:
The PMO Lead will be responsible for overseeing the governance, tracking, and optimization of
all project contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs) across the organization. This role ensures
that project execution aligns with contractual obligations, profitability goals, and resource
utilization strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and
communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive
operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Contract and SOW Management
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of all Contracts and SOWsfrom initiation, approval,
execution, and delivery to closure.
Maintain a centralized repository for contracts and SOWs ensuring version control and
compliance.
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams to ensure alignment with
organizational standards and client expectations.
Governance and Continuous Improvement
Establish PMO frameworks, templates, and best practices for contract, financial, and
resource management.
Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to project governance.
Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and transparency.
Resource and Financial Tracking
Track and manage resources assigned under each SOW, ensuring optimal allocation
and utilization.
Monitor time, cost, and deliverables to ensure adherence to contractual terms.
Calculate and report profit and loss (P&L) margins for each contract by analyzing cost
structures, bill rates, and resource performance.
Identify areas of cost optimization and revenue enhancement opportunities.
Reporting and Analytics (MIS & Presentation)
Develop and maintain Management Information System (MIS) reports for leadership
review.
Provide regular dashboards and presentations highlighting project performance, financial
health, risks, and opportunities.
Support data-driven decision-making through insightful trend and variance analysis.
Stakeholder Management and Communication
Serve as a key liaison between Delivery, Finance, HR, and Leadership teams.
Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare and present executive-level updates on PMO performance and portfolio status.
Qualifications and Skills
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or a
related field (Master's preferred).
8+ years of experience in PMO, Project Operations, or Contract/Commercial
Management.
Proven experience managing end-to-end contracts and SOW lifecycles.
Technical & Professional Skills:
Strong understanding of project financials, including cost vs. revenue analysis and P&L
management.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (e.g., MS
Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
Excellent presentation and MIS reporting skills.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
