Position Title: PMO Lead
Department: Claims Centre of Excellence PMO Team
Experience: 58 years (customizable)
Reports to: PMO Manager / Divisional Leadership
Role Summary:
The PMO Lead will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing project governance, management reporting, and project support within the Claims Centre of Excellence. This position involves close collaboration with stakeholders, offering visibility into divisional change projects and key performance/risk metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
PMO Governance & Support:
- Facilitate Divisional Change Board activities (initiation to closure)
- Conduct project reviews and resource governance
- Drive PMO process improvements
- Manage KPIs/KRIs
Project Management Support:
- Develop project plans and critical path analysis
- Track milestones, risks, issues, and decisions
- Assist in benefits realization and dependency management
- Provide ad hoc support for documentation and meeting coordination
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare PMO Board Packs (PowerPoint)
- Analyze financial reports and flag anomalies
- Maintain key project indicators and metrics
- Use Excel and Power BI for dashboarding and insights
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in PMO or project support roles
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Exposure to governance frameworks and resource planning
- Ability to work independently and in virtual, cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
