Role Description
- As a member of the Risk Finance Treasury Divisional Data Office (RFT DDO) in Group Strategic Analytics
- (GSA), you will be part of the team responsible for the data strategy across these business domains.
- This role is suited to a data-driven PMO professional who is equally comfortable managing programme governance and working hands-on with complex datasets to generate actionable insights. The role combines core PMO responsibilities with a strong emphasis on data management, analytics, and management information (MI) production. You will play a critical role in managing, analysing, and transforming large datasets into actionable insights that support both senior management decision-making and day-to-day programme execution.
- Your responsibilities will focus on managing change-the-bank activities to uplift our data capabilities in line with evolving regulatory and internal policy requirements. You will work closely with business, technology, and transformation teams to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and delivery of portfolio outcomes.
- This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across business lines and infrastructure functions, with a strong focus on driving delivery through high-quality, data-driven insights. You will develop a detailed understanding of enterprise data management processes and play an active role in enhancing reporting, governance, and transparency across the RFT data portfolio.

Your Key Responsibilities
- PMO governance across the RFT Data Office, including project planning, RAID management, and KPI reporting.
- Own and manage large datasets across multiple sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and completeness to support programme reporting and execution.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Management Information (MI) for both senior stakeholders and delivery teams, enabling informed decision-making and proactive delivery management.
- Perform advanced data analysis, including joining and transforming datasets from multiple sources to produce meaningful insights and reporting outputs
- Develop and maintain dashboards, summary reports, and visualisations to track programme performance, risks, and progress against milestones.
- Active tracking of milestones and deliverables within official tooling (dbClarity/Jira), ensuring alignment with committed timelines
- Prepare and present materials for governance forums, including portfolio reviews and working groups, translating complex data into clear narratives
- Stakeholder management across business and technology teams, ensuring clear and effective communication of data insights and programme status.
- Support adoption of innovative tools, including AI-enabled solutions, to enhance PMO efficiency, reporting, and insight generation
- Engage with internal audit and central PMO functions, ensuring transparency and auditability of reporting and governance processes.
Your Skills And Experience
- Strong experience operating within a Project Management Office, ideally within Risk, Finance, Treasury, or Data domains.
- Proven ability to manage and analyse large datasets, with a strong focus on generating high-quality management information (MI).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including use of pivot tables, Power Pivot, complex formulas, and lookups to combine and transform data from multiple sources.
- Demonstrated experience in building summary dashboards, reporting packs, and data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI is highly desirable.
- Experience using industry-standard tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or Clarity for tracking delivery and reporting.
- Ability to manage a high-volume, dynamic workload across multiple initiatives and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise messaging for senior stakeholders.
- Strong PowerPoint skills, with experience creating high-quality, executive-level presentations and reporting materials.
- Experience or strong interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity in PMO, reporting, and data analysis activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.
