Job Description

As a Consultant in Professional Services, you will lead complex, multi-workstream cloud and SaaS transformations, guiding customers through the full delivery lifecycle from inception to go-live and beyond. You will combine strong Agile delivery, program governance, and financial acumen with a growth mindset around AI, automation, and cloud delivery. Your work will directly support Professional Services FY26 priorities to cut implementation effort and time, scale AI-enabled services, and drive profitable, high-value customer outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Guidewire cloud or SaaS implementation and transformation programs, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and overall customer success across multiple workstreams.
  • Run Agile delivery for your engagements, including planning, backlog management, and core ceremonies (stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives), while coordinating distributed, cross-functional project teams.
  • Establish and operate effective project governance, including status and risk reviews, steering committees, decision logs, and structured communication with senior customer stakeholders and partners.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control to protect margins, utilization, and commercial outcomes, while keeping delivery aligned to customer value and Professional Services VPMOM goals.
  • Collaborate closely with system integrators and third-party partners, driving clear roles, accountability, and design authority to improve SI-led program outcomes and overall implementation quality.
  • Use tools such as Jira or Rally, Confluence or SharePoint, and Microsoft Project to track progress, maintain delivery transparency, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Contribute to scaling repeatable, AI-enabled delivery methods and offerings that reduce implementation effort and time, and support Guidewire's ambition to revolutionize services execution and accelerate cloud adoption.

What you'll bring

Required

Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

  • Significant experience leading complex technology implementation or transformation projects (ideally SaaS or cloud) in a customer-facing consulting, delivery, or program management role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices and project governance, with hands-on experience running core ceremonies and coordinating cross-functional, distributed teams.
  • Proven track record managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality across multi-workstream projects, including risk and issue management, change control, and commercial awareness (e.g., margins, utilization, and project financials).
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with senior customer leaders, partners, and internal teams.
  • Experience collaborating with or managing system integrators and third-party partners on large-scale programs.
  • Proficiency with delivery and tracking tools such as Jira or Rally, collaboration platforms such as Confluence or SharePoint, and project planning tools like Microsoft Project.
  • Growth mindset with high learning agility, especially around AI, automation, and cloud delivery methods, and a commitment to inclusive, respectful collaboration in a global environment that values determination, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Preferred

  • Experience delivering or consulting on large-scale core systems or cloud transformations in the P&C insurance or broader financial services domain.
  • Background working in or with Professional Services organizations, including familiarity with utilization, margin, and revenue/mix optimization.
  • Prior involvement in defining or scaling repeatable offerings, accelerators, or methodologies (e.g., AI-enabled migration approaches, automation of implementation tasks).
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business) or equivalent practical experience.

In your first six months, you will take ownership of one or more Guidewire cloud or SaaS implementation projects, establishing governance, aligning stakeholders, and building a clear delivery plan that reduces implementation effort and time while safeguarding quality and commercial outcomes in line with Professional Services FY26 targets.

You will apply Agile delivery, AI-enabled methods, and automation to streamline execution, improve predictability, and help customers realize value from Guidewire's platform fastersupporting our wider mission to transform how the world's P&C insurers do business.
