Key Responsibilities :

Project Governance & Delivery Oversight

  • Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Monitor project milestones, risks, dependencies, and KPIs.
  • Provide support in the generation of executive-level reporting on project health, risks, and opportunities.
  • Enforce governance standards and best practices across delivery teams.

Project Gating Process

  • Responsibility for the end-to-end Gating Process for Professional Services projects
  • Closely working with Delivery Leads and Project Managers to ensure adherence to the Gating Process
  • Maintain up to date Gating Checklists
  • Responsible for holding regular, actionable Gating Meetings for each project with the necessary stakeholders
  • Creation of high-quality Gating Reports enabling timely action by Management on any issues or blockers

Financial & Budget Management

  • Assist in the maintenance of project budget tracking templates.
  • Providing support in the generation of financial reporting on revenue forecast and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with finance and delivery leads to ensure accurate forecasting and milestone payments.

Resource & Capacity Management

  • Assist in resource planning and allocation across programs.

Process Optimization & Tooling

  • Define and refine PMO processes, templates, and delivery playbooks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery practices.
  • Train and support project managers on tools like Jira, MS Project Online and Power BI or others business analytics tools

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Act as a key liaison between delivery teams, various departments (mostly sales & finances), and executive sponsors.
  • Facilitate internal steering committees, working groups, and stakeholder workshops.
  • Ensure alignment of delivery outcomes with strategic business objectives.

Critical Competencies

  • Deep understanding of SDLC and Agile process.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record in supporting large-scale transformation programs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education : Bachelors or Masters in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications : PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or equivalent.
  • Experience : 2 - 5 years in PMO or program management roles, preferably in banking or financial services software delivery.
  • Tools : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project, Power BI, Jira, Salesforce, and Agile delivery platforms.

Success Metrics

  • Gating Process : creation of high-quality, actionable Gating reports
  • Resource utilization : efficiency of resource allocation across all projects
  • Process compliance : Degree to which PMO processes and methodologies are followed
  • Quality & on-time reporting : % of reports delivered without errors and as per scheduled deadline

Travel

  • Open to Travel to Onsite if required
