Job Summary
We are looking for a PMC Engineer Retail with strong MEP coordination experience to manage and monitor retail fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality, cost, safety, and timely execution of projects in line with approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Project Management Consultant (PMC) for retail fit-out projects
Monitor MEP execution (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting) at site
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, architects, and clients
Review and approve shop drawings, BOQs, and material submittals
Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines
Conduct site inspections and ensure quality & safety compliance
Track project progress and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports
Verify measurements, RA bills, and variation claims
Identify risks, delays, and technical issues and suggest corrective actions
Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and statutory requirements
Manage snag lists and ensure timely project handover
Mandatory Requirements
Retail project experience Mandatory
MEP experience (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting) Mandatory
Hands-on experience in Retail Fit-out / Commercial Projects
Strong knowledge of MEP coordination and site execution
Desired Skills & Competencies
Good understanding of project scheduling and coordination
Ability to read and interpret GFC drawings and MEP layouts
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of quality control, safety norms, and documentation
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD (basic)
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Educational Qualification
BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering
