Plumbing Manager - WTP & STP Operations (Lonavala)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Plumbing Manager to oversee the complete plumbing infrastructure and utility operations at Della Resorts & Adventure, Lonavala. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance management within hospitality, resorts, commercial properties, or large facilities.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted water supply systems, sewage treatment efficiency, plumbing maintenance, preventive upkeep, and adherence to environmental and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plumbing & Utility Management
. Supervise and manage all plumbing systems across the resort property.
. Ensure smooth functioning of pipelines, pumps, valves, water tanks, fixtures, and drainage systems.
. Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
. Monitor daily utility consumption and optimize water usage efficiency.
WTP & STP Operations
. Operate and maintain Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).
. Ensure treated water quality meets statutory and environmental norms.
. Monitor dosing systems, filtration units, pumps, blowers, RO systems, and chemical treatments.
. Maintain operational logs, test reports, and maintenance records.
. Coordinate with pollution control authorities and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Team Management
. Lead and supervise plumbing technicians, operators, and contractors.
. Allocate daily tasks and monitor workforce productivity.
. Train staff on SOPs, safety procedures, and equipment handling.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
. Attend breakdowns and resolve plumbing and utility-related issues promptly.
. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues.
. Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams for major repairs and upgrades.
Safety & Compliance
. Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental norms, and company policies.
. Maintain inventory of plumbing materials, spare parts, and chemicals.
. Support audits, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Plumbing, Civil, or related field.
Experience
. Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in plumbing maintenance and utility operations.
. Hands-on experience in WTP & STP plant operations is mandatory.
. Experience in hospitality, resorts, hotels, commercial properties, or large facilities preferred.
Technical Skills
. Knowledge of plumbing systems, pumps, piping networks, and water distribution.
. Strong understanding of WTP/STP processes and equipment.
. Familiarity with RO plants, filtration systems, dosing systems, and water quality standards.
. Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance schedules.
