Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Plumbing & Firefighting Engineer to manage and execute plumbing and firefighting works at construction sites. The candidate will be responsible for supervising installation activities, ensuring quality standards, coordinating with stakeholders, and delivering projects within scheduled timelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute plumbing and firefighting works as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Supervise installation of water supply, drainage, sewerage, storm water, and firefighting systems.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed as per project schedule.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other MEP teams.
- Review shop drawings, layouts, and technical submittals before execution.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Manage manpower, subcontractors, and material requirements at site.
- Verify quantities and certify contractor bills as per executed work.
- Attend project coordination and progress review meetings.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during execution.
- Ensure proper testing and commissioning of plumbing and firefighting systems.
- Maintain daily progress reports and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, NBC, IS standards, and fire safety regulations.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and statutory authorities.
- Support project handover and closeout activities.
Required Skills:- Strong knowledge of plumbing and firefighting systems.
- Understanding of pumps, hydrants, sprinklers, hose reels, STP/WTP, and water supply systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Strong site execution and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Qualification:- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
