Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Plumbing & Firefighting Draftsman to join our dynamic MEP team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate drawings for plumbing and fire protection systems, ensuring design compliance and coordination across project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Plumbing System Drafting
- Prepare layout and detailed drawings for:
- Toilet layouts
- Water supply and drainage systems
- Water supply schematic diagrams
- Drainage schematic diagrams
- WTP (Water Treatment Plant), STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), and RO (Reverse Osmosis) system diagrams
- Plant room layouts
- Tank and puddle flange details
- External services for stormwater and sewage
Fire Protection System Drafting
- Prepare layout and detailed drawings for:
- Sprinkler, hydrant, and fire extinguisher systems
- Internal and external hydrant systems
- Fire protection schematic diagrams
- Fire system submission drawings
- Fire plant room piping layouts
- Puddle flange layouts
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Draftsmanship or relevant technical field
- 515 years of relevant experience in MEP drafting, specifically in Plumbing and Firefighting systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting tools
- Good understanding of building codes and plumbing/fire safety standards
- Ability to interpret and work from architectural and engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
