Job Description

Scope of Technical Services The Service Provider shall supply qualified Windchill technical resources across three primary functional domains:

Customization Architecture Extensions UI Business Logic: Developing custom UI extensions, server-side business logic, and custom form processors using Java, Windchill API, InfoEngine, and Webject frameworks.

Workflow Lifecycle Customization: Configure custom Windchill workflow templates, lifecycle states, gate transitions, and automated task notifications using the Windchill Workflow Designer and Java event listeners. Pro-gram conditional branching, role-based assignments, and ad-hoc approval routing.

Windchill Service Pattern: Construct custom backend business logic using Windchill Service Patterns, declaring business interfaces Service and implementation classes StandardService registered via service.properties to ensure upgrade safety and modular maintainability.

Options Variants Architecture: Configure Options and Variants architecture within Windchill, including Option Sets, Choice definitions, and Option Rules Inclusion, Exclusion, and Enable rules to drive configurable BOMs. Develop custom Java helpers and UI validators.

PLM Data Model Management TAM: Model and deploy custom Windchill object classes, soft types, subtype attributes, enumerated value lists, and link relationships using Type and Attribute Management tool.

Integration REST API Services Third-Party Connectors: Develop bi-directional integration connectors using ThingWorx Navigate, PTC REST APIs, OData services, and InfoEngine to synchronize PLM metadata, CAD structures, and BOMs with external enterprise platforms ERPSAP, MES, CRM, CAD tools.

Security Failure Protocols: Exposeconsume customized RESTful endpoints, author JSONXML schemas, and implement OAuth 2.0 authentication, error-logging frameworks, and failover retry mechanisms to ensure transac-tional data integrity.

Agile Execution Delivery Pipeline Agile Governance: Execute sprint backlogs ScrumKanban using Jira or Azure DevOps, tracking user stories, technical spikes, and task burn-downs.

CICD Pipeline: Manage source code versioning, feature branching, merge requests, automated build scripts, and deployment packaging across Dev, QA, and Prod environments using Git, Windchill Deployment Assistant, and Jenkins

Azure Pipelines.

Responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Digital Factory solutions using PTC Windchill, Thing-Worx, and Azure.
Experienced in machine connectivity, Industrial IoT integration, PLM configuration, workflow au-tomation, system integration, and digital factory deployment.
Skilled in Windchill customization, Options Variants, REST APIs, change management, and manufacturing data connectivity.
Strong understanding of Industry 4.0, smart factory architecture, and cross-functional collaboration.
