PLM- Python developer (Senior)

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems usingPython.

• Develop and customize solutions within Product Lifecycle Management.

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Integrate PLM systems with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise platforms.

• Develop automation scripts and data migration utilities.

• Optimize system performance and ensure high availability.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and DevOps principles.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Qualifications

Educational qualification:Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Experience :8-10 years

Mandatory/requires Skills :Technical Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Python development.

• Strongexpertise in:

• Python

• REST API development

• SQL & NoSQL databases (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)

• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts

• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems (Contact PLM preferred).

• Experience in system integrations (ERP, CAD systems).

• Knowledge of microservices architecture.

• Experience with version control (Git).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.

• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in manufacturing or product engineering domains

• Exposure to DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Knowledge of security best practices in enterprise applications

Soft Skills

Education

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Experience in large-scale enterprise applications
