We're looking for an experienced PLM professional to lead a Windchill to Teamcenter migration project. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in PLM systems, data extraction, and ETL processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end migration from Windchill to Teamcenter - including planning, execution, monitoring, and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data analysts, developers, PLM architects, and business stakeholders) to ensure smooth and accurate migration.
- Define and maintain data governance standards, mapping rules, and quality benchmarks.
- Oversee ETL processes - data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading.
- Execute Windchill data extraction using tools like WBM, IPS, and IPEM, and perform CSV to TCXML conversions for Teamcenter data loading.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness throughout migration activities.
- Develop and optimize scripts, tools, or middleware to support data transfer between systems.
- Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and documentation of processes, mappings, and exceptions.
- Support testing, user acceptance, and post-migration audits to ensure functionality and data quality.
- Provide training and technical support during and after migration.
- Experience with PLM-ERP integrations (SAP/Oracle) is an added advantage.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of total experience in PLM systems, with significant hands-on experience in Windchill and Teamcenter environments.
- Proven track record of leading data migration or system transformation projects in a PLM context.
- Strong understanding of ETL methodologies, SQL scripting, data mapping, and validation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Windchill data extraction, WBM, IPS, IPEM, CSV to TCXML conversion, and Teamcenter data loading.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with PLM integrations to ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) is highly preferred.
