PLM Engineer - Windchill

The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 3000+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy's units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy to date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

How you'll make an impact:

• Digitalization and Automation in industrial environment using Windchill, Thing Worx and etc.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Expert in Windchill API.

• Implementation Business Process improvement.

• Build management, Code maintenance and Identification of Possible De-Customization.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Troubleshoot and debug software issues.

• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the software solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

• Analyze and troubleshoot problems.

• Suggest Workarounds and Root Cause Analysis.

• Issue routing, assignment and Monitoring.

• Resolve any issues that can be fixed by configuration and Predictive analysis.

• Manage Innoface & Granta integration and Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present technical information.

• Expert level customization.

Your background:

• Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree / in Software engineering or information systems with 8 - 11 years of experience.

• Communication skills with users from other cultural background.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Expertise in PLM Concepts.

• Expert level customization in Windchill.

• Profound knowledge in PTC products Thing Worx, Windchill and Kepware associated applications.

• Windchill, Thing Worx configuration & customization.

• Hands on Experience in programming languages like Java, Java script, AJAX, JSP, PLSQL, SOAP, Info Engine and Linux Shell Script Programming
