As a
PLM Business Analyst, you will play a key role in strengthening how products are designed, developed, and delivered across Danfoss Drives globally. Your work will directly enable faster innovation, better product quality, and more efficient collaboration across engineering and operations.
You will act as the bridge between business and technology—translating real-world needs into scalable PLM solutions that make product lifecycle processes smarter, simpler, and more connected. From BOM management to change control, your contributions will shape how teams bring ideas to life.
By driving continuous improvement and digital transformation, you'll help reduce complexity, automate workflows, and unlock data-driven decisions that support sustainable and profitable growth.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible to the following
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into clear PLM requirements in close collaboration with SMEs and Super Users across sites that improve product lifecycle efficiency
- Ensure alignment between PLM solutions and defined business processes, working closely with Process Owners
- Partner with IT teams to implement and validate PLM enhancements that meet quality, usability, and compliance expectations
- Define and execute test cases; verify and validate system enhancements and Ensure solutions meet quality, compliance, and usability expectations
- Lead deployments, training, and user adoption to ensure teams confidently use PLM tools and processes across global sites
- Provide ongoing backend support and act as a key contact for Super Users and SMEs
- Drive continuous improvements and automation to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort across engineering operations
- Contribute to larger PLM transformation initiatives
- Develop reports and insights using SQL, Power BI, and PLM analytics tools to enable better, data-driven decisions
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience working with PLM systems including BOM, Variant configuration, change, and release management
- Familiarity with Teamcenter, CAD tools (e.g., NX and Cadence), and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or similar reporting tools for data analysis and visualization
- Proven ability to work across functions such as engineering, manufacturing, procurement, or logistics Clear communication and stakeholder management skills in a global, cross-cultural environment
- A structured, analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions
