PLC Programming & Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement PLC-based control systems for automotive manufacturing lines.
• Program and configure automation hardware and software including HMIs, sensors, actuators, and robotics.
• Perform diagnostics and trouble shooting of PLC systems to resolve faults and improve uptime.
• Collaborate with process engineers to automate repetitive tasks, reduce cycle times, and improve efficiency.
• Maintain documentation for PLC programs, wiring diagrams, and system configurations.
• Stay updated with latest automation technologies, including Industry 4.0 and IoT integration.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in PLC programming languages(e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text) and platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, SCADA, and automation protocols.
• Experience with electrical schematics, instrumentation, and safety interlocks.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams.
