Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation & Electronics Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and support electronic and industrial communication systems within plant or industrial environments. The role involves troubleshooting automation systems, commissioning control solutions, and ensuring smooth operation of industrial networks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain electronic and communication systems used in industrial and plant environments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, sensors, encoders, and industrial communication networks.
  • Handle commissioning, testing, and integration of automation and control systems.
  • Ensure reliable operation of industrial communication protocols including Modbus, Profibus, ProfNet, Ethernet/IP, CAN, and related systems.
  • Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of control panels, field instruments, and communication hardware.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation such as wiring diagrams, control logic backups, and system configurations.
  • Provide technical support to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Follow safety standards and best practices during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC, VFD, HMI, and industrial automation systems.
  • Working knowledge of SCADA and HMI systems.
  • Understanding of industrial communication protocols and networking concepts.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and control logic.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma / BE / BTech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
  • Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or plant environments.
