Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Fresher PLC Programmer / Trainee Automation Engineer to join our automation and controls team. The selected candidate will receive hands-on exposure in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA configuration, system testing, and commissioning under the guidance of senior engineers. This role is ideal for candidates eager to build a career in industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and modifying PLC programs using platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), Mitsubishi, or Omron.

• Support configuration and basic integration of HMI and SCADA systems (WinCC, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, etc.).

• Assist senior engineers in system testing, debugging, and commissioning activities (factory/site).

• Understand control logic, I/O wiring, and automation drawings.

• Participate in troubleshooting PLC and HMI issues during testing and production support.

• Prepare and maintain basic documentation such as program backups, I/O lists, and test reports.

• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and project teams during project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation.

• Fresher or up to 1 year of internship / project experience in PLC programming.

• Basic knowledge of PLC concepts (Ladder Logic, I/O mapping, timers, counters).

• Exposure to at least one PLC platform (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi / Omron).

• Basic understanding of HMI/SCADA systems is an added advantage.

• Willingness to learn, good analytical thinking, and problem-solving attitude.

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
