Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site PLC Programmer role based in Nagpur. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PLC programs to meet the automation needs of various projects. Day-to-day tasks include programming, configuring, and troubleshooting PLC systems, testing and commissioning on-site equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. The role also involves providing customer support and technical documentation for automated systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and configuration
- Strong understanding of automation systems, control panels, and HMI/SCADA systems
- Experience with designing ladder logic diagrams and programming industrial controllers
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
- Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or related field
- Experience in the industrial automation field is preferred
- Willingness to travel as required for project commissioning and support
