Job Description:

Primary Skills

1. Hands on experience in PLC/DCS test systems, including manual and automated testing, and scripting. Foxboro/Honeywell/ABB/Yokogawa DCS and/or Triconex/HIMA/FSC/Modicon PLC.

2. Experience in control/safety systems functional/system testing that includes Factory Acceptance Tests/Site Acceptance Tests, Installation and Commissining of PLC/DCS Systems

3. Exposure to verification and / or validation of multi-processor real-time embedded or high integrity systems, and communication protocols, i.e. Serial IO, Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC etc for safety-critical systems

4. Exposure to formal development methodologies, i.e. configuration management, requirements traceability, formal or semi formal methods; unit, functional and system testing

5. Strong communication and presentation skills.

Secondary Skills:

1. Experience of redundant systems (e.g. 2oo2 or 2oo3) and / or exposure to CENELEC, IEC, ISO, IEEE or CMM standards is preferable

2. CSQA / CSQE / CRP certification is a plus

3. Experience with requirements engineering, configuration management, unit / automated testing and coding enforcement tools is a plus.

Description of position Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities to be carried out by others.
• Carrying out self reviews and analysis of hardware or software deliverables, including documenting results as required.
• Preparing test scripts, setting up test environments, and execution of planned tests using automated test tools or using manual test methods.
• Develop and execute test procedures, record test results, prepare test reports
• Assisting in the maintenance of project and / or organizational processes and work procedures.
