Preferred Industry: Machine tool industry/Gear Manufacturing industry
Experience: 3-5 Years
Main Task
PLC Programming:
Developing, testing, and maintaining PLC programs for various machine tool applications.
Macro Programming
Creating and optimising macro programs for specific machine tool functions and processes.
System Integration
Integrating PLC and macro programs with other machine tool components, such as sensors,actuators, and HMIs.
Troubleshooting And Maintenance
Identifying and resolving issues in PLC and macrosystems, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
Documentation
Creating and maintaining documentation for PLC and macro programs, including functional specifications and system diagrams.
Collaboration
Working with other engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure seamless integration and operation of automated systems.
Performance Optimization
Continuously improving PLC and macro programs to enhance machine tool performance and efficiency.
Safety Compliance
Ensuring that all PLC and macro programs adhere to safety standards and regulations.
Skills Required
PLC Programming Languages:
Proficiency in programming languages like ladder logic, function block diagram, and structured text.
Macro Programming Languages
Experience with macro programming languages specific to machine tool controls.
PLC Systems
Experience with various PLC systems, such as Siemens, Mitsubishi and Fanuc
HMI Development
Experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) development for operator control and monitoring.
SCADA Systems
Knowledge of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
Problem-Solving
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
Communication Skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge Of Machine Tools
Understanding of machine tool operation,functionality, and safety procedures.
