About the Role
We are looking for a skilled PLC & Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in programming, troubleshooting, and system integration using Siemens and Allen Bradley platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and commissioning industrial automation systems, ensuring reliability and performance at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- PLC Programming: Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs (Siemens & Allen Bradley) using ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams (FBD).
- Drive Programming: Configure and optimize VFDs and Servo Drives (minimum 2 years experience). Handle drive selection, tuning, and troubleshooting.
- System Commissioning: Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support and system maintenance post-installation.
- System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, and automation components.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed control design documents, logic descriptions, wiring diagrams, and commissioning reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering from a reputed institute.
- 48 years of practical experience in PLC Programming (Siemens & Allen Bradley).
- Expertise in Servo and VFD drive programming, selection, and optimization.
- Strong exposure to process automation and real-time control systems.
- Hands-on experience in Unified HMI, JavaScript/VB Script for HMI Design, and HMI migration projects.
- Proficient in E-Plan, circuit diagram interpretation, panel integration, and control panel design.
- Knowledge of switchgear, panel layout, and BOM preparation.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet.
- Project management experience will be an added advantage.
