About Position:
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation using JavaScript. The ideal candidate should be proficient in web UI automation, writing robust test scripts using XPath/CSS locators.

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript.
- Build stable and reusable automation frameworks/components, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Create and optimize XPath/CSS locator strategies for dynamic UI elements.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze failures; perform debugging and provide root-cause analysis.
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and ensure automation coverage for critical flows.
- Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing; support release validation activities.
- Validate data using SQL queries to ensure backend consistency and correctness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and improve testability.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Playwright with JavaScript strong hands-on experience (framework + scripting).
- Solid understanding of web automation concepts (sync/async handling, waits, assertions, page object model).
- Hands-on experience with XPath locator strategies (dynamic locators, axes, robust selectors).
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for flaky tests and test failures.
- Good understanding of QA fundamentals: test design, defect lifecycle, and quality practices.
