Playwright Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• A Playwright Test Automation Engineer with ServiceNow experience is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests for ServiceNow applications using the Playwright framework.
• This dynamic role demands solid expertise in test automation principles and deep familiarity with the ServiceNow platform, enabling automation of core business workflows and ensuring quality across ServiceNow solutions.
• Develop robust test scripts using Playwright to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Leverage ServiceNow APIs and platform features to facilitate comprehensive automation, including UI, workflow, and data testing.
• Integrate Playwright test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, etc) for continuous testing and rapid feedback.
• Execute automated test cases, report defects, and collaborate with ServiceNow development and QA teams to resolve issues.
• Build and sustain scalable, maintainable automation frameworks, ensuring ease of extension and collaboration.
• Document automated test cases, procedures, and ServiceNow integration approaches for team reference and future onboarding.
• Promote best practices in ServiceNow automated testing, contributing ideas for process improvement and test coverage expansio

Required Skills and Experience

• 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation, ideally with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python).
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow applications, modules, and APIs.
• Experience integrating automated tests into modern CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
