About Position
This role focuses on driving end-to-end automation testing using Playwright and JavaScript, leveraging AI-driven testing approaches to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure applications in a modern CI/CD environment.

What You'll Do
- Perform UI automation using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript or Python)
- Design and maintain test suites, reusable keywords, and integrations using Robot Framework
- Execute API testing and automation across systems
- Test authentication and authorization flows including SSO, OAuth2/SAML, token-based and session-based access scenarios using ForgeRock (AM/IDM/Access Management) or similar IAM platforms
- Leverage MCP and AI/agents/GenAI in testing for test case generation, test data creation, and log/defect analysis
- Integrate agents into testing workflows to improve coverage and speed
- Build and execute automated test strategies across unit, integration, system, E2E, regression, and smoke testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Build or extend internal QA tools or automation frameworks
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams for quality delivery
- Define and drive test strategy while ensuring high quality standards
- Challenge requirements and advocate for quality across the lifecycle
- Mentor team members on automation and best practices
Expertise You'll Bring
- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright for UI automation (TypeScript/JavaScript or Python)
- Experience with Robot Framework (designing and maintaining test suites, reusable keywords, and integrations with external libraries/tools)
- Solid experience in API testing & automation
- Practical experience with ForgeRock (AM/IDM/Access Management) or similar IAM platforms
- Experience testing authentication, authorization (SSO, OAuth2/SAML flows), token-based and session-based access scenarios
- Experience using MCP and AI/agents/GenAI in testing for test case generation, test data creation, log/defect analysis
- Strong scripting/programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or Java
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Good understanding of testing concepts and strategy (unit, integration, system, E2E, regression, smoke)
- Experience building or extending internal QA tools or automation frameworks
- Basic security testing knowledge (OWASP Top 10, vulnerability scanning)
- Knowledge of Cloud (preferably Azure, AWS)
- Knowledge of logs & monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog) for debugging and RCA
- Knowledge of SQL and basic database validation
- Experience with test management tools (Jira/Xray, Zephyr, TestRail)
- Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes and testing in microservices-based environments
- Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems
- Good communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to define and drive test strategy
- Ability to challenge requirements and advocate for quality
- Mentoring capability to guide others on automation and best practices
