The Lead Quality Engineer role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by leveraging expertise in automation testing tools and frameworks. The position requires hands-on experience in RestAssured Java TestNG and Selenium with a focus on driving quality assurance processes and contributing to the companys success in a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Design execute and maintain automated test scripts using RestAssured Java TestNG and Selenium to validate application functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects ensuring seamless integration of software components.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting areas for improvement and optimization.
- Monitor and enhance the performance of automated testing frameworks to align with project requirements and timelines.
- Provide guidance and support to team members in adopting best practices for quality assurance and automation testing.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies in all testing activities to maintain compliance and quality benchmarks.
- Work closely with developers to understand application requirements and design effective test cases for maximum coverage.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in quality engineering to continuously improve testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with domain experts in Cards & Payments and Asset & Wealth Management to ensure domain-specific testing requirements are met.
- Contribute to the companys purpose by delivering high-quality software solutions that positively impact society and business operations.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates on testing progress and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Possess hands-on experience in RestAssured Java TestNG and Selenium with a proven track record in automation testing.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex software issues effectively.
- Exhibit excellent collaboration and communication skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
- Have domain knowledge in Cards & Payments and Asset & Wealth Management which is considered a valuable asset.
- Show a proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies and methodologies in quality engineering.
