Playwright Automation

About Position:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test solutions for web and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on automation experience, strong QA fundamentals, and the ability to collaborate closely with application and DevOps teams.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright (Java and/or TypeScript).
• Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend validations.
• Perform API testing using tools such as RestAssured, Karate, SoapUI, or equivalent.
• Validate data through database testing and support Kafka/message-queue testing where applicable.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Harness, or similar EPLX platforms.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (Java and/or TypeScript).
• Solid automation background using Selenium, RestAssured, Karate, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Java, OOP concepts, and automation design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with test management tools such as Octane, ALM, JIRA.
