PlayWright automation, Java + Selenium

We are seeking an experienced PlayWright Automation Engineer with expertise in Java and Selenium to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, a passion for quality assurance, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Selenium frameworks.
• Design and implement test cases based on user requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Execute and maintain regression, functional, and performance tests.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation.
• Monitor and report on testing progress and results, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-9 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Strong experience with Playwright and Selenium frameworks for web application testing.
• Hands-on experience in writing and executing automated test scripts.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
