Overview:
You will design, develop, and maintain Playwright-based test automation, contribute to CI/CD integration, and help scale quality practices across Salesforce UI and API test coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Playwright automation using TypeScript (POM & fixtures).
- Automate Salesforce UI flows and relevant API interactions.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) and ensure parallel runs.
- Troubleshoot failures, debug with traces/network tools, and report defects.
- Mentor junior engineers; participate in code reviews and automation strategy.
- Perform code reviews and enforce coding and automation quality standards.
- Analyze automation coverage, identify gaps, and optimize test strategy.
- Ensure proper integration of API, UI, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Drive continuous improvement in test automation efficiency, reliability, and reporting.
- Collaborate with QA, Development, and Product teams to identify automation opportunities and design robust solutions.
Requirements (Senior):
- Playwright + TypeScript: Senior 6+ yrs hands-on automation.
- Strong UI automation skills — locators, waits, POM.
- JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency and test-design skills.
- CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and test parallelization.
- Basic API testing knowledge and web debugging tools.
- Salesforce testing experience preferred (configurable screens, LWC).
- Version control (Git) & code review experience. mentoring/arch guidance.
