Job Description: Platform / OS BringUp Engineer
Experience Level : 3 Years to 8 Years
Work Location : Pune
Key Responsibilities
- Perform platform bringup and BIOS validation (Legacy & UEFI).
- Support Windows OS bringup, debugging boot issues, and performing triage.
- Use tools like KDNET, WinDbg, trace logs, terminal commands, memory dump analysis.
- Connect debuggers, capture logs, and resolve system loops/boot failures.
- Troubleshoot power states, PowerCfg, and ACPIrelated issues.
- Bring up and debug drivers/peripherals: USB, graphics, audio, etc.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of BIOS/UEFI, platform architecture, and OS bringup.
- Handson experience with Windows debugging tools and memory dump analysis.
- Knowledge of power management (ACPI, power states).
- Ability to troubleshoot hardwaresoftware interaction and driver issues.
