Platform Lead - AI and Shared Orchestration, Director

Take ownership of the planning, delivery, and operational performance of a technology platform. You will optimise scheduling and sequencing of initiatives, maintain platform stability, and ensure solutions align with customer needs and the overall technology strategy. This role also includes financial oversight, regulatory reporting, and driving continuous improvements in platform performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimise the scheduling and sequencing of initiatives to achieve agreed targets for cycle time, risk, and cost profiles.
• Deliver, own, and maintain operational stability and performance of platform technology, including applications, systems, utilities, and tools.
• Ensure business solutions are aligned to customer needs and the broader technology strategy and roadmap.
• Own the financial, commercial, and flow performance of the platform, proactively tracking, reporting, and driving improvements.
• Deliver regulatory reporting and manage allocated budgets effectively.
• Provide leadership in cross-functional projects, ensuring adherence to governance standards and frameworks.

Skills & Experience:

• In-depth domain or platform product knowledge with experience in operational management.
• Strong commercial acumen with business and systems analytical skills.
• Expert understanding of platform applications and services, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proven leadership experience, including Agile and servant leadership principles.
• Architecture, design, and engineering expertise relevant to platform management.
• Experience running large, complex projects spanning multiple teams and senior governance forums.
