Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience (preferably in a fast-growing startup) managing large-scale public cloud platforms is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of GCP cloud services such as App Engine, Pub/Sub, EMQX, CloudRun, BigQuery, CloudSQL, and Cloud Tasks.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and proven ability to automate cloud resource creation, updates, and governance.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bashable to build automation and drive operational improvements.
- Experience optimising cloud costs through forecasting, budget planning, and implementing effective autoscaling and logging strategies.
- Expertise in advanced DevOps and SRE best practices, containerised microservices, and CICD pipelines (Github Actions, GCP Cloud Deploy).
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Signoz, NewRelic, GCP Monitoring, driving metrics-based decisions.
- Solid understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2 GCC) and industry security/privacy standards (OWASP 10), with a track record in leading compliance initiatives.
- Advanced networking and security know-howrouting, firewalls, VPN, and SSL/TLS.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and process improvement, OSS/CNCF community involvement a plus.
