Role Overview

As a Platform Engineer, you will harden the infrastructure and build the tooling that keeps deploys fast and incidents rare as the India hub takes on more platform ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Tooling & Automation

• Build and maintain infrastructure as code across staging and production environments
• Automate repetitive engineering workflows: deploy pipelines, environment spin-up, dependency upgrades
• Partner with product squads to remove infrastructure bottlenecks from their roadmap

Reliability & Developer Experience

• Improve deploy frequency and rollback speed through better CI/CD pipelines
• Build internal dashboards that give engineers visibility into service health
• Reduce on-call noise by fixing root causes rather than symptoms

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 4 to 8 years in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration
• Proficiency in a systems language such as Go, Python, or Java for building platform tools
• Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with service mesh, feature-flagging, or progressive-delivery tooling
• Exposure to cost optimisation or FinOps practices on cloud infrastructure
